Pumpkin Carving!

In the Spirit of Halloween I give you the following funny video... if you don't at least smile, there is something wrong with you!

So I had a really good weekend. I did not get as much homework done as I would have liked, but I did get the paper written and turned in online. I have to turn in my hard copy today.

My date, we will call him A, went super well! He was in the process of moving, so I offered some assistance, we watched part of the gator game, went to dinner at Kazbor's, and on the way there we passed a pumpkin patch. Being me, I suggested we get a pumpkin after dinner, and he was all for it! Dinner was great, good conversation, the gators were winning. We stopped and got my pumpkin, which I was planning on taking home to carve, and I thought "what the hell" and asked if he wanted to carve it with me. To my suprise, he did, he said he had not carved a pumpkin since he was a kid... hmmmm, how do you not carve a pumpkin in October? We checked the score when we got back to his house, and the gators were losing. They lost 21 -17, I was not happy.

With the gator game over, we got to working on Mr. Pumpkin, and before you knew it, we had a pumpkin goo fight. I am not sure who won... but it was a blast. I did most of the carving, but he got equally messy in the de-gooing... Below is a picture of our lovely pumpkin, which we now have to share custody of... LOL! It even has eyebrows.

And there is a pic of him with muh punkin~

With the pumkin carving out of the way, we were off to the pool hall. It was fun, even though it was this little redneck place with only two tables. It was one of those you have to put your quarters up, and win the table... so we only actually got to play together once. He let me play most of the games.

So Sunday rolled around. I did not get up till almost 1300. It was nice to sleep in. I got my house cleaned from top to bottom, my laundry done, grocery shopping done, and began to work on my paper again. A. came over to my house last night, and brought me flowers. I was impressed! He waited patiently while I finished putting the final touches on my paper, and even read it to make sure I did not have any glaring typos. I made dinner, and we played some Champions on PS2. He is new to the game, but seemed to like it, so brownie points there too! 2230 rolled around, and he was like, "I had better go, you have a long day tomorrow." Very considerate... So far so good. I hope things continue to go well!

I am back at work today, and have a pile on my desk, so I will go...

I leave you with the useless fact of the day: The almond is a member of the peach family.

who-da thunk it?
